Malios Prime - Riverwalk/Downtown - steak, fish, everything great food and atmosphere.  perfect when paired with the theater (straz) or art museum function.

Bern's Steakhouse - Hyde Park

FAV - Steelbach - located at Armature Works.  Great steaks and feel good appetizers and drinks.  On the pricey side but worth it.  Go for prefix on New Years for a late dinner and see the fireworks over the water.

Oak and Ola - slightly more upscale than Steelbach and right next door within Armature Works.  I find it to be more sophisticated menu, a bit more dressy, but ironically not as comfortable tables which can be somewhat crammed.  Great menu, creative and delicious.

Epicurean Hotel - very creative menu.  Restaurant within hotel.  Go to ice cream parlor after dinner or rooftop bar.

Forbici - light Italian - Hyde Park - great gourmet pizza and decent bar.

Cinebistro - movie eatery - Hyde Park - average food for the pricing but unique experience for movies and has indie options.

FAV - Samorai Blue - Ybor - Sushi.   Great $10 lunch special 2 rolls + miso

FAV Fun Mexican- Bar Taco - fusion tacos with great, unique margaritas and bar.  Sit outside if possible.   You will underpay for tacos and overpay for drinks, but worthwhile.

FAV - Ichichoro - Seminole Heights - best ramen around.  get crispy chicken app and brothless chili ramen.

FAV - Daily Eats - Hyde Park - breakfast / comfort food

Goodie Goodie - Hyde Park - good for kids.  diner.

Arirang - authentic Korean.  Ll located in interbay by Bayshore just south of Gandy.

Oxford Exchange - Univ. Tampa area - great breakfast.  unique atmosphere.

$$ - Rasoi Indian Cuisine - Indian - Ybor - you could eat there but a bit run down and does take out just as easy.

$$ - Jamison B - jamison.org - local artisan bread and pastry basket.  Must order by Thursday to then pick up Saturday. Lots of great awesome options, but higher end in price for takeout bread and pastry.  A guilty pleasure for sure.
